COMMANDqc helps you efficiently create, publish, and manage comprehensive and professional Mix Submittals. The COMMANDqc Mix Submittal module automates the process of collecting the required mix and material documents, and combining them into a single Portable Data Format (PDF) document that can be emailed, printed and faxed, or published to the Web. Formal document control is facilitated by the use of submittal version numbers and by archiving old versions.

Here’s how it works: Built-in document management tools help you attach vendor data sheets, compliance certificates, and user-generated test data (e.g. grading reports) to selected raw material records in the system. Similarly, you can attach a statistical summary (ACI 214 Report) to each Mix Design of interest.

The process of actually creating a Submittal begins when the you choose a “template” that defines the format of the cover letter, the format of the mix report, and a variety of other options. For each Mix Design you select for the Submittal, COMMANDqc creates a detailed technical report containing the mix specifications, list of mix constituents, combined aggregate grading curve, disclaimers, etc. It then looks up and organizes the appropriate Mix and Material attachments and includes them in the dynamic document. Other sections of the program make quick work of customizing the cover letter and attaching additional documents.

The in-process Submittal document can be saved at any point and edited as required, until it is complete and ready for approval. At that point it is permanently archived in the system and can be e-mailed or printed. Subsequent changes to the Submittal result in a new copy of the document with a new revision number.

A key feature of the COMMANDqc Mix Submittal package is its full integration with COMMANDseries. Customer and Project records are fully integrated with COMMANDconcrete, ensuring data accuracy and minimizing the amount of manual data entry required.
